The Rev. Manoj Mathew Zacharia

Bio:

Manoj Mathew Zacharia serves as the Rector of the Church of St. Paul’s and Resurrection. Manoj grew up in Sparrow Bush, NY and attended Port Jervis Public schools. He is a graduate of Vassar College – majoring in Political Philosophy. At Vassar, he served as President of the Virginia A. Smith Debate Society and Editor at Large for Real Politik – a student run Political Science Journal. Manoj had brief stints working in the political, business-economic development, and financial fields. He completed his seminary education at the Mar Thoma Theological Seminary in Kottayam. Manoj was ordained through the Mar Thoma Syrian Church (an Anglican Communion partner). He is currently preparing for his doctoral dissertation at the University of Toronto. His area of academic-theological interest is the methodology of inter-religious dialogue.

Joelle Thomas Zacharia, an English lecturer, is his partner. Their primary joy in life is their daughter Abigail.
